A portrait from my series, “Black in Black & White” will be a part of the SHOW US YOUR ACTIVISM exhibit at the Bartow-Pell Mansion Museum. The exhibit features "contemporary works that aim to effect social change, foster dialogue, raise consciousness, and empower individuals and communities." Exhibit curated by Mary Colby and Alison McKay.

The portrait I will be presenting is of Chris Rob -- Producer. Vocalist. Pianist. Soldier. During our shoot, he changed into a t-shirt with the message: Shoot Films Not People. Our portrait session took place in August 2020. That summer was emotionally heavy after the murders of Breonna Taylor, George Floyd and Ahmaud Arbery.
