My art is here to stir thoughts and emotion. Some of my work will make you smile or make you cry, turn you on, disgust you, enrage you, educate you... no matter what, I've done my part.
I am a freelance writer specializing in health, fitness and nutrition. I possess a B.S. in Sport Sciences and am an NATA certified Athletic Trainer.
Born and raised in New York City, there's no denying there's something about the city that fuels the imagination. My fiction includes novel writing, screenplays, short stories and erotica, including the short story collection, The Darker Side of Lust. I've shared my work at the erotic showcase, UrbanErotika as performer, producer and curator. I have also been a featured performer at ArtErotica, Abiola’s Kiss and Tell, the In The Flesh Erotic Reading Series, Forbidden Kiss: The Erotica Series, the Inner Vibrations Book Reading, the Arts and Wellness Sanctuary Erotic Arts Salon in Washington DC., Freak Nasty and Ravenous Nights Reading Series. Random Musings is where you can find many of my personal essays and social commentaries. I also have a huge interest in food writing and restaurant reviews.
There is so much to witness all around us, everyday. I capture that in images as well. Many models of camera phones have been utilized in my projects -- New York City through a camera phone, Self Portraitry and Man. Toy. which was featured in a solo exhibit at The Body Archive Gallery. I've recently started shooting with a digital camera.
My photography can be found on my Photos home page. I specialize in candid, editorial portraiture - capturing the beautiful nuances and emotions of everyday life. I use the same voyueristic style in my event coverage (parties, launch events, parades, fashion shows, burlesque shows, live music), providing a "behind-the-scenes" look with an emphasis on conveying the energy of the event. Events recently covered include the Air in the Square, Festival of Ideas for the New City, NYC Pillow Fight Day, UFC 128 Press Conference, Urbanworld Film Festival, 2011 Sex Bloggers Calendar Launch, Spike Lee's BK Loves MJ Birthday Celebration, Visiontube.tv Launch (to name a few). I was the Grand Prize winner of the 40 Acres "BK Loves MJ Photo Contest" judged by Spike Lee.
